So it had come round to that time of the year again where I was in desperate need of some new specs and just like the last two years I turned to the beloved Firmoo.com to sort me out. I honestly cannot fault Firmoo and their service, they have a marvellous selection of specs to choose from both male, female and unisex styles - so there is no doubt you will find a pair to suit you every time. Not only is there a wide selection to choose from but they also offer many different frames with alternative colours and designs so you can have real fun try to choosing which colour, pattern and details to go for.

This time round I went for a different shape to the usual classic Rayban style, choosing a more feminine  shape with slightly bigger frame that cat eye out a little in the corners. I also opted for a pink frame as I thought they would look sassy with my newly lilac toned hair.

Another great feature of Firmoo and also another reason I like to shop my glasses from them, is their 'virtual try-on service' which allows you to either upload or take a photo and try your chosen style on. Allowing you to get a good idea of what your frames will look like on your face, I have used this service even time I have picked a new pair, and the results once the frames arrive are perfect and exactly how I imagined them to be. Leaving me a very happy bunny.

Classic Sheffield Lady ℅ Daniel Wellington

Being a blogger you often find yourself wanting something another blogger has or find yourself liking and wearing a certain trend because it has become ridiculously popular across the whole blogging network and simply because it is everywhere. Which is completely normal and kind of the point of bloggers sharing with your their outfits and new buys anyways so it is all groovy. So getting to the point, there is in no doubt if you read blogs, follow bloggers or just an regular instagram browser you would of come across some one wearing a Daniel Wellington watch. DW has taken the socially interactive by storm and I don't think there is a day that goes by I don't see someone wearing and sharing their favourite DW.  So being a blogger an all I kind of feel like I'm part of the cool gang now with my own Classic Sheffield DW watch. I'm a sucker for watches any way always have had one in my life (or maybe five, ok ten) that I wear religiously and well of course I'm going to take up the opportunity to have another in my life. Who wouldn't?

Daniel Wellington Classic Sheffield Lady / Kirsty Wears BlogDaniel Wellington Classic Sheffield Lady / Kirsty Wears Blog

This DW baby is a Classic Sheffield Lady with Silver face and Black Leather strap, and it quite simply the prettiest of classic style watches I have ever seen."With leather darker than the deepest parts of the ocean, the Classic Sheffield was carefully designed to stand the test of time while maintaining its effortless beauty. This minimalistic piece proves that simple does not necessarily mean boring" -  I could not agree more with this little bio on their page, the design is so effortless but looks so lovely on your wrist and quite frankly go with any look, outfit or style, it is timeless. I'm in love with my DW so expect to see me wearing it everyday aha.

Do you have a favourite Daniel Wellington watch of your own, or have one on a wish list somewhere? Hold tight I have 15% OFF to treat you with, use the code 'kirstywears' at the checkout to get your discount today. Offer last until the 31st May.

Venus With Love V.Locket // Kirsty Wears Blog

Sharing with you today this gorgeous custom made charm locket from the lovely Jewellery brand Venus With Love. VWL approached me just over a month ago now kindly asking whether I would like to design and create my own locket with them, I was so excited at the idea having seen their gorgeous collections online and how cute the V.Lockets were. However with me being in Thailand I thought that maybe I would have too miss out on such a lovely opportunity, but luckily after speaking with the lovely Jenna at VWL she was happy to ship out the package all the to me here in Koh Samui. I was so over joyed that I spent the next 4 week eagerly anticipating the arrival with several trips to the local post office. Then the day come and it just so happened James picked it up for me on the way back from his training, it felt like Christmas had come early. As you can probably tell the prospect of receiving parcels is very exciting, especially as I have had to go almost a year with out any sort of online delivery or parcel. Oh the little things.

So now you all know that I got very excited (sometimes I do wonder) let me talk more about Venus With Love, this adorable locket and its super lovely concept. The idea behind the V.Locket is that you can either choose to gift somebody the locket, with maybe one or two charms in and then they can continue to build it up inside themselves, or you can choose up to 8 charms (depending on the size you choose) and build a full locket. I decided to choose 6 charms and base mine around my year here in Thailand, therefore I chose; a palm tree, cocktail, suitcase, peace hands, my birth stone and a little heart with 'dream' engraved on the inside, and also I went for the 'large silver locket, with a snake chain' (just incase you were wondering which size and style mine was). With a whole range of charms and dangles to choose from you can design which ever mood, theme or story you like.

Venus With Love V.Locket // Kirsty Wears BlogVenus With Love V.Locket // Kirsty Wears Blog

The fun doesn't stop there, once you have built your locket you can always add to it or even complete change the content if you like, as the little case opens and closes (just like an original locket). I think VWL have come up with such a cute, timeless idea that if you were to receive as a gift, or even just treat yourself you can keep the story going or if your like me just have my most recent memories locked in forever.

I guess it holds a similar concept to the Pandora bracelets where you can continue to hold and pick out favourite memories and moments keeping them as close to you as possible. Personally I love jewellery like this, it reminds me of all the wonderful things that my mum and granny have in their treasure boxes and all the meanings and stories in each of their special pieces. There is far to much costume jewellery these days, I think it is something truly special to have a piece that you love and can make you remember.

If Venus With Love have stolen your heart or you know someone that will love a V.Locket of their own use the code 'KIRSTYWEARS20' to receive 20% OFF at the checkout. Also if you do let me know what charms you went for. Thank you so much to Venus With Love for gifting me with such a beautiful piece of jewellery.

If you are like me and love to find new exciting brands that are just emerging on to the high street then you will love the brand I am introducing to you today, however they are fabulous so you maybe of heard of them already. But if not then definitely check them out.

Bill†Mar is a London based brand created by Rosie Bonnar whom found her inspiration when travelling and working in Australia for a year. Naming her brand after her grandparents Bill and Marian (which I think is amazing, her grandparent must be pretty cool), Rosie creates a unique stand out from the crowd collection that is not afraid to deviate from mainstream trends. With clashing prints, bold, vibrant colours and fabric mixes Bill†Mar is an exciting new twist to the high street and the current trends.  Whether you are like me and like to mix up patterns and prints or a fan of the matching two pieces Bill†Mar will not disappoint.

Hi from Thailand :) so happy to finally be blogging from here. I thought I'd include a little travel update on what I have been up to and include some pictures from my time in Koh Samui - Bo Phut and obviously what I've been wearing.

The weather here has been very humid and it is extremely hot all of the time however at the moment most days are over cast and there is often a down pour of rain either during the day or in the evening. Honestly have never seen rain like it and coming from Britain that is quite a big statement aha, literally it is like standing under a waterfall. Although proving perfect weather for these H&M floaty trousers, which are just amazing to wear. They're perfect on and were only £14.99 cannot go wrong!

So I am currently blogging from Chaweng - Koh Samui were we will be based for a while as James is training (thai boxing) in one of the local gyms here. I will eventually blog more about Chaweng in future post but for now I thought I would include what and where I have been up until now. So I arrived just over 2 weeks ago to meet James (boyfriend) who had already been out here for 3 weeks, I was so excited but extremely nervous at the same time as I had never been on a plane on my own before and the longest journey being only 4 hours - so the 13 hour flight was a little daunting. However once on the plane I was fine, and I slept most of the way which was perfect.

So far we have visited and stayed in Bo Phut which is another part of Koh Samui and we have also Koh Tao which is about 2 hours via boat from here. I am having the best time, there are so many wonderful things to do and see. One of my favourite things about thailand are the constant markets and street food. There is so much to try and taste and is so cheap which is a bonus, the markets also are ridiculously cheap I have to reframe from buying everything I see as I couldn't possibly carry it all around with whilst on the move aha.

I have included some photos from are time in Bo Phut, mainly from Bo Phut's Fisherman Village, which we happened to stumble across whilst roaming up and down the local street. Bo Phut was quite quiet with not much to do until we finally found this place. There was such a great hustle and bustle vibe, with so many colours and things to see and going on. The food again was immense, honestly so far the street food has been the best thing, I know people have said before that you shouldn't eat it. But once your here its hard not to, and it all seems perfectly fine to me. Each to there own I guess :) Look forward to blogging more soon xo

Howdy Y'all! Today I'm wearing culottes, yep most definitely in a pair of culottes. I am as shocked as you are, I was adamant that I wasn't into the whole culottes trend and I most certainly didn't think I was going to love a pair on me. But these H&M bobby dazzlers have stolen my heart and I am now a culottes believer.

So if you don't know already, and well I don't actually think I have told any of you yet but I have booked a one way ticket to Koh Samui, Thailand and will be leaving in paradise for as long as I possibly can (in my head I'm hoping a year). SO I guess I'm SUPER excited about that - I fly on the 2nd of July and I literally cannot control my excitement. I think this is possible to most scary/exciting/huge thing I have and am ever going to do and well it simply now or never.

I cannot wait to blog from my new home and eat ridiculous amounts of watermelon, oh and coconut rice. Life will be good. So maybe if I don't get a chance to blog in-between now and flying I guess I'll next speak to you all when in Thailand. xo

Thought I would put together something a little different with today's outfit post featuring this gorgeous cream floral printed jumpsuit from In Love with Fashion, by creating a look I'd wear during the daytime and also how I would wear this garment of an evening for a night out.

I always find it handy when I have key pieces in my wardrobe that I know I have the option of dressing down for a casual day look and dressing it up if I was after an outfit for a night out. Key pieces are particularly great when on a budget or looking for something to re vamp and inspire the wardrobe.

So I have put together two looks a day time and night time, I did actually wear this jumpsuit today and quickly took some 'evening look' pictures when I got back, thankfully before the rain. So today I chose to wear this jumpsuit with a causal jumper over the top giving the illusion of floral straight leg trousers, belting it at the waist and teaming it with my chunky heeled sandals from Primark, I love how the jumpsuit looks with a jumper over the top, and the jumpsuit is so comfy to wear it didn't even feel like I had a boned body under my jumper.

To the evening look, I think that the jumpsuit is a pretty stand alone piece to wear therefore I wouldn't add much to it when going for a night out. Here I have worn my simplest one strap heels so it doesn't take away from the jumpsuit and the length of the trouser leg. I find a less chunkier heel can make your legs appear longer and in my case skinner, although I do love a chunky heel they are just so easy to walk/dance in. Adding simple accessories with a delicate trinket necklace and a pink leather clutch bag, I also kept the belt at the waist as I felt it tied in the black shoes nicely, et viola. A simple yet stunning evening look. Now I just need somewhere and someone to take me on a night out.

Hope you liked this style of post and found it useful seeing the two contrasts for one garment, let me know if you do I would love to hear your feed back :)
