Hey everyone, so I made a second vlog over on my youtube channel. I have only just started getting the hang of the whole video editing thang' so hopefully this one has improvements from the first. I would love it if you could give this video a thumbs up and also subscribe if you like seeing my Thailand diaries. I think my next video will be a mini travel lookbook, with a few things I have been wearing recently. Hope you enjoy watching : )

Also if you haven't yet seen my first vlog, then wait to the end of this video and a link will take you straight there : )

So me and James have been Adventurous Annie's and decided to motor bike (ped) around the island. Seeing what we could find and just have a change of scenery really, believe it or not but going to the beach everyday can become quite tiresome.

We had such a good day exploring, finding streets and road that we haven't been down before, it is amazing how many temples the island has and we didn't even know were just around the corner. I have seen so many places and shops I want to go back and check out and restaurants that we would like to try. It was a really good way to see what the other side has to offer : )

Here are a few snaps I took along the way, and of course what I wore //

Maybe not my finest of attires however I wanted to be comfy and what not better way than in ma genie pants. Don't HATE, fashion people sometimes in real life comfy whilst on the go is needed… Well for me sometimes anyway and I was on a motor bike all day so trainers and ridiculous pants where the only option really.

The Chinese temples were the most beautiful I have ever seen. The colour and detail that goes into these buildings inside and out is just incredible.

This is the ceiling of my favourite temple, just amazing.

I also decided to do something a little different and video our day instead of taking a million pictures. Which lead me to create a mini 'Day around Koh Samui vlog', YES a VLOG, who'd of thought I was capable of such a thing, I certainly didn't. My results are a little shaky (I'm certainly no pro), however I really like the outcome and I think it is such a nice way to document our time travelling and living here in Thailand. Although I am not sure how often I'll get round to creating other vlogs as bejesus it is hard work, even just filming is hard aha. I take my hat off to you full time vloggers and youtubers because what you guys do all the time, creating content, editing and publishing is pretty amazing.

Do let me know if you liked my first vlog and please feel free to leave any tips or what nots that I could possible take with me if I ever adventure into the vlogging world again. Speak soon xo

Printed Crop Top - River Island
    Short - Thailand
    Sliders - River Island
    Bag - Primark

So today I'm a clashing Clancy in my elephant print shorts and River Island crop, sometimes it's fun to just wear whatever the heck you fancy and not worry about looking totally ridiculous. I'm in Thailand, so who cares, oh look at me being all yolo.

Speaking of yolo, yesterday I decided that I was going to get my nose pierced. I have liked the idea of getting in done for a while now however I couldn't actually bring myself to go through with it, I think it was the thought of the gun being held to my face that was freaking me out the most. I have both tattoos and other piercing so the pain wasn't really worrying - in saying that I still crapped my pants and spent a good ten minutes prior being pierced flapping my arms around in the air freaking out. BUT I got it done and it was absolutely fine no pain what so ever, just afterwards when the blood rushes to the area it starts to throb a little. Woo you can imagine I was feeling like a little tough cookie after my mini adrenaline rush. HA really I'm the biggest woos going.

Just a few snaps from Saturday what I wore (if you follow me on Instagram, you would recognise this outfit from there). The weather is so stormy here that you can get a little grouchy being stuck with not much to do, so me and James tend to go for longish walks to see what we can find and well just to stretchy are legs. Saturdays finds were this amazing view point (yes I moaned all the way up the hill and back down) and this amazing spirit tree and collection of spirit houses. It was so strange because as we were looking around every car that passed by would bib its horn several times and after about 10 bibbing cars we realised they were bibbing for the spirits and at the shrines. Pretty amazing.

Pretty beaded rings at the markets,  Passion Fruit Mojitos, James with a book (well kindle) in his hand never thought I'd see the day, Cloudy beach days with ma Luca sunnies.

I have been on a bit of a roll this week with the old blog posts, which is kind of a nice feeling as I feel like I'm really starting to back into the old swing of things. So keeping it up I thought I would just update you on a little 'life lately' post with a few snaps of what I have been up to recently. Most of my days are just spent exploring the town or at the beach, as you can see I love to walk to markets even if I have seen almost everything there is to see I always find something new I like aha. Today marks my second month here in Thailand, which is ridiculous to believe. Time has and is going way to fast
Life Lately - Kirsty Wears Blog
Cannot believe I have been here 2 months already and it is September. No way is it nearly Christmas surely.
I hope you like this kind of post, I think it is a nice way to share with you some of my many photos I have been taking and just to show you what sort of things I have been doing and seeing, etc.

Also for more travel snippets and finds you can find me on Instagram where I post daily here. xo

#Ohno please excuse the frizz that is my mane, there is no controlling it some days.

Here is an outfit I wore the other day when the weather was not so sunny and we went on a little Chaweng adventure. Just a comfy cool look with my elephant printed shorts and cotton H&M cami, the sandals I am wearing are really old however I still love as they go with so many things and are so comfortable to wear. Unfortunately I couldn't find any of the above online anymore so I have done tried my best to find similar. xo

A casual beach look today, this kimono has sure come in handy here in Thailand it is perfect and lightweight so really easy to wear in the humid heat. Unfortunately H&M didn't have it on their website as it was in the sale when I purchased it, however I found one similar which is just as nice (see item link).

Having only a suitcase of clothes with me I'm slowly running out of new things to blog, I have purchased a few snazzy bits from the shops and markets here but on a travellers budget its not possible to keep replenishing the suitcase wardrobe aha. So there maybe a few things that reappear occasionally and you might think I've seen her wear that before, but I promise to reinvent it every time so I hope it doesn't get to boring.

Oh and I thought I'd add a little blooper at the end, as clearly James was saying something sarcastically halirious to make me pull such a cheesy grin.

    Happy Weekend xo

    Tie dye coord - Thailand
    Gold Sliders - River Island
    Silver Ring - Primark

Behold it's a bright one. I picked up this little rainbow combo up last week, originally I bought them as individual pieces but when I got home I discovered they look fab together making the perfect coord. So I'm guessing it was meant to be.

This week has been a quiet one in Thailand, the weather has not been that great therefore me and James have had a lot of movie days. James also managed to obtain food poisoning so we have been in hiding till he feels better, thankfully he is back to his normal self again. So we have been able to get out and get some fresh air at the beach, which came as a relief as I think cabin fever was just about to kick in.

Today is a simple look and the first time I'm wearing this Twin Sister dress that I purchased a while ago with some Christmas Next vouchers. I didn't realise Next had a wider concession range on their online website, they have so many fab bits on there and such a huge range, I spent days trying to decide what I was going to spend them on. Unfortunately they don't have this dress on there now as it was a xmas purchase but they do have some other Twin Sister dresses which are similar in simplicity. You can also find Twin Sister on OhMyLoveLondon - they have a bigger collection. Oh and just checked they have this dress in their sale see here and a gorgeous pastel print version which is amazing see here .

Thought I'd be a little bit chic with my shots today and shoot them with the apartments roof top satellites in the background. Maybe wasn't as cool as I thought at the time aha but it makes a change. Change in good.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this post, speak soon. xo
