So it had come round to that time of the year again where I was in desperate need of some new specs and just like the last two years I turned to the beloved Firmoo.com to sort me out. I honestly cannot fault Firmoo and their service, they have a marvellous selection of specs to choose from both male, female and unisex styles - so there is no doubt you will find a pair to suit you every time. The end of June sees me and James are heading home to the UK where I plan to spend my days knitting and crocheting pretty accessories and clothing to sell on the interweb and hopefully build myself a little empire of a brand with lots of handmade goodness and more. It has been a dream of mine to have my own knitwear brand and clothing boutique for as long as I can remember and I am super excited to finally be able to spend time and work hard on something that I really want to do. So with that to look forward to I have been obsessing over pretty studio spaces and little creative corners in the home. More excitingly my mother bean has been putting together me a little work space in the conservatory, and I cannot wait to turn into something super cute and inspiring to work in everyday. These are just some of the pretty ideas I like and found on Pinterest (seriously that place is amazing, I can spend hours pinning) I love the all the little quotes and pictures on the wall and having a crafty bits around such as pom poms and crochet cushions. Hopefully I'll be able to creative something just as exciting to work in and more importantly create a living doing something I love. I cannot wait to share with you all my ideas and things I have designed more information on my website and brand will be coming soon so fingers crossed it all works out.

 

It has been awhile since I put together one of my life lately post and well a lot has happened in-between then, but nothing to important just… Christmas, New Year, and Valentines. Sometimes I do question my ability to stay on top of things, I'm not normally this terrible I promise.

So me and James had a wonderful Thailand Christmas, New Year and more recently Valentines weekend. The weather is really good right now as we are heading into mid high season so catching some raise has been on the agenda more than ever. As you can see from my most recent IG snaps I have been crocheting like a mad lady and slowly but surely getting faster and better at it, which makes me very chirpy indeed. I am super excited to kick start more project when I return home to the UK.

My battle with the pastel hair is still very much on the way, I have yet to concur a full head of lilac as for some reason I cannot quite grasp how to get my whole head the same tone.. any tips please share below guys. I don't know what I am doing wrong, however I'm still loving pastel life.

I recently acquired 3 more tattoos,  a little hasty you may be thinking but one thing I have learnt or realised from living here in Thailand is that just to live my life and have fun with it. Don't take things to seriously and stop worrying about what everybody else is going to think or say. Therefore with this in mind I went all yolo and got some tattoos that I have wanted for quite sometimes + (plus) maybe and extra little buddha too.

There is something about collating all your instagram photos I find very aesthetically appealing and satisfying aha. Have a good week homies and I shall speak to you soon  ✌

I am really looking forward to 2015 will bring this year, I feel like I am in a really good place at the moment and I am going to make it my mission to keep up the positivity and just enjoy everything in my life and make the most of the time that we have. Because if there is anything I have learnt in the last couple of years and that is time and life is precious, with a flick of a switch it can change. So make the most of what we have got, spend quality time with loved ones and friend, stop trying to make everybody happy (because it is impossible) and just love you and keep doing what makes you happy. It has been awhile since I a posted a 'life lately' update, so today this is what I plan to do. Quite a fair bit has happened over on the land of coconuts since I my last life snippet post. From me joining the gym (yes me), a best friend visiting, puppies everywhere and me and James moving yet again to another part of the Island. Ok that might not seem as eventful as you might of assumed but believe me to me and my beachin' self I was rushed off my feet. Aha I think I may have forgotten what hard work is.. Here are just a few of my favourite photo snips from the last few months. 

Had the best two weeks ever when my gorgeous friend Sam came to visit, I did not realise how much I missed my girlfriends and girl time until she was here. We spent the whole 14 days laughing, singing, dancing and just being completely loons which we are best at aha. It was an emotional goodbye, but we made some of the best memories. 

If you follow me on Instagram then you probably would of seen these two photos, plus a trillion more. I was not always a dog person (as I have only ever had cats) but ever since my mum bought little Bella into the family and I guess living with James and his doggies for awhile I have become a sucker for all furry four legged friends. I'm obsessed and am really wanting a puppy of my own (possible future goals when I'm home) so you can imagine my excitement and joy when the owner of our guesthouse has a litter of 9 fluffy white puppies. Honestly if I could I would of brought every single one of them to take home with me, just look at the cuteness and yes I lapped up my daily dose of puppy cuddles EVERYDAY!



Back to the beginning of October me and James celebrated our 6 year anniversary together and Thailand being the perfect place for us to reflect on how far we have come both individually and in our relationship. Anyone who is or has been in a long term relationship you'll all know that there are times when things get tough, but pushing through whatever situation it might be and coming out even closer and stronger than ever before, just proves that it is a relationship worth fighting for.  I'm so grateful to have James in my life and yes we have had shit times but getting through them together and becoming closer just makes all those times worth the upset. We are having the time our lives out here together and I am so over the moon that I get to experience this way of life with my love. (Ok sorry I was not expecting the soppy-ness, I'll shut up now)


We have just moved to Choeng Mon which is a quieter part of Koh Samui Island. After being in Chaweng for so long we felt like it was time for a change of scenery and atmosphere, even though I loved Chaweng with its busy night life and frequent markets. Choeng Mon is a lot more peaceful and we have found a cheap enough place to stay that includes a pool, beach and gym so we have lots to keep us busy (however I miss the puppies), Chaweng is only 10 minutes away via tuk tuk so we can enjoy the best of both worlds.


Last but not least introducing blonde me. Maybe a little dramatic I know (my dad thinks I have lost the plot, maybe I have) but after wanting to go lighter with my hair for so long I decided to take the plunge and I didn't go softly either. So here I am with my almost white locks and I love it, at first maybe a little shocked but a couple of days to adjust I am so glad I took the risk. Despite my hair being completely destroyed from the bleach (although it was in terrible condition before hand) I have no regrets what so ever and I'm so excited to live out my next chapter as a blondie. Ooo I might even go Lilac or Pink or Blue the possibilities are endless hehee. 

One of the hardest things I find to do is keeping myself inspired and motivated, therefore I constantly remind myself that everyday is a new which is an opportunity to find new inspirations and make new goals. Having studied a creative degree you'd think seeking inspiration would come second nature to me however that is not the case and it takes a great deal of self motivation and determination to keep yourself inspired. There were moments when I thought it was just not possible but then a little self evaluation and belief anything is possible, so if you seek to do something in life that you love and really want then the only way you are going to achieve at anything is through hard work and positivity. So on that note I thought I would share with you guys a few of the things that I do on a daily basis to keep myself inspired to continue with both my blog and my future ambition.

Mood Boards // One of the main things that I love to do and could possibly spend hours creating is mood boards both online and on paper. I find it is a great way to seek and collect inspiration for all sort of things whether it's a project or simply just fashion and wardrobe inspiration. I currently obsessed with Pinterest which I recently joined, it makes it so easy to categorise all the things you love and a great way to have all your inspiration in one place. My boards include all sorts of things from food, decor, fashion, and travel - and I am constantly adding to them each day.

What You Love // It is important to remember why you started something or what made you want to do what you are doing now. It is very easy to loose the motivation to carry on especially when you feel like you have been doing something for so long - forgetting why your doing it in the first place is very easy. So to prevent feeling lost and with no will you need to continue, surround yourself with all the things that you are passionate about and continue to do the things you enjoy. Whether it is blogging, creating outfits, trend hunting, drawing, photography, designing, whatever it is - just carry on doing them. As it is only when you stop or start to slow down that you begin to feel lost. I know from personal experience that feeling lost and with no direction is a horrible thing, but there is no better feeling of carrying out a dream or working hard on something that you fully enjoy and getting results. I guess what I am trying to say is SURROUND YOURSELF IN & WITH WHAT YOU LOVE GURLL ...or BOY!

Other Blogs // I love to read my favourite blogs and I also love to come across new blogs too. I couldn't imagine four years ago that I would make blog reading part of my daily doings, but now does not go a day where I won't scroll through my Bloglovin feed and catch up with all my favs. Being and feeling part of a community (this case blogging and fashion etc) is possibly one of the most inspiring things, meeting and making friends from your little online hub is probably one of the great things that come from writing a blog and it is strange because most of us probably got told not to talk to strangers over the internet. LOL oops!

Those Wardrobe Favourites // Ok so it probably obvious that I have a love for clothes and fashion in general (hence why there is a whole blog about it), I literally live, breath, dream and eat it. However recently I have come to a fashion stand still as I am half way across the world living out a suitcase that has already become full to its means. So whats a girl to do that has already worn everything at least twice and couldn't possibly buy any more new clothes. Revive the old, yup that is what I have been doing you have probably already seen a few repeats of certain items on the blog but it has been working (for me anyway) and it means I still get to blog outfits and share with you guys different ways to wear things. You never know pulling out some of the old wardrobe garms you might find something that you wasn't too sure about and now love.

Take Pictures // See something you like take a picture, you like your hair today take a picture. There is no harm in documenting things you like and find because one day that picture will spark a memory or inspire you to do something. I find Instagram a great visual blog for documenting all my favourite things and a create way to create memories. Some of my favourite instagram photos to take include flat lays, ootd (outfit of the day), from where I stand, selfie's (of course who doesn't). Instagram is also a great way to seek inspiration from other people and fellow bloggers.

Stay positive // & Lastly remember to stay positive. For me this is an important factor that I try and do everyday, especially when thinking about the future and possible careers and ideas. It is so easy to get bogged down in the feeling your not achieving what you want to be achieving or get caught up in comparing yourself to others around you. Remembering that if it is meant to be it will be, and if your working hard and enjoying what you do then you will eventually be where you want to be. I have touched on this in a previous post here if you fancied a read.

There you have it my six things that I try and make sure that I do to continue to feel inspired with both my life and my little old blog. Sometimes it is easy to feel like your not gaining anything but I guess it all boils down to hard work and a little belief and of course self motivation. So I'm sitting here with a cuppa and scrolling through my recents posts and pondering about what I could blog about today. See it is raining this morning in Thailand and the forecast looks set to rain all day, so me and James are going to do what we would probably do if we was back in the UK on a Sunday and that is.. simply nothing. *ah bliss* A lazy Sunday is one of my favourite things and is the perfect opportunity to catch up with some blogging favourites and also blog myself. 

I haven't got a current outfit to post or any travel updates, so I'm sitting here tidying my messy folders and LOLing at some of the silly blog shots James has captured. Then it came to me.. today can be a bloopers day. So here it is my recent blogging bloopers = me just being a twat in front of the camera. Happy Sunday! 

It seems I have a habit of scrunching up my face, pulling the cheesiest of cheese grins. Prancing around seems to be a favourite, oh and I seem to have a problem at keeping my eyes open. I can say safely the majority of my outfit takes look like this and about 5 sometimes 10 if I'm lucky will be blogable.  So there it is today you learnt that I am one big outtake fail and well I'll probably never change. lol

That time again where I like to round up some of my favourite pictures and moments of recents events and things. Lots of beach days recently as the weather has been exceptional good, which is a surprise as it is suppose to be rainy season. However in saying that it is currently raining now and has done pretty much all week. 

Me and James have been brave and rented a moped for the month so we are excited to go on lots of island adventures. I did make a little Vlog of our first explore if you haven't seen it already then I'll link it here in case you fancy a watch. Also I'm not planning on making Youtube a 'thing' but I do plan on making lots more travel vlogs as I think they are a great way to look back on memories, so feel free to subscribe to my channel to see more.

If you follow me on twitter then you may have seen me screaming about cockroaches in our room to other day. Yes there where 10 cockroaches running around like transformers up the ceilings and on all our furniture, it was horrible and terrifying. But thankfully we have left that place and back to where we were original so things are all clean and safe again aha. Sadly we lost out on some money but we physically could not stay for 6 weeks in a place that was infested with them, we believe they had a nest under our bed and after some research there is no getting rid of them unless you get the exterminators in. SO we ran as fast as we could. Oh the wonders of travelling aha.

So me and James have been Adventurous Annie's and decided to motor bike (ped) around the island. Seeing what we could find and just have a change of scenery really, believe it or not but going to the beach everyday can become quite tiresome.

We had such a good day exploring, finding streets and road that we haven't been down before, it is amazing how many temples the island has and we didn't even know were just around the corner. I have seen so many places and shops I want to go back and check out and restaurants that we would like to try. It was a really good way to see what the other side has to offer : )

1// Obsessed with this tie dye dress it makes me feel so boho, in a multicoloured kind of way. 

2// PURPLE PUP GATE! Yes only in Thailand (well and maybe on TOWIE). This snazzy little dude strolled past me and for a minute I was adamant I was seeing things aha. But no there is in fact a purple dog roaming the streets of Chaweng.

4// Last Saturday me and James went on a little walking adventure as the weather had been terrible and we had been stuck in doors quite a lot. Just a few snaps from Saturday what I wore (if you follow me on Instagram, you would recognise this outfit from there). The weather is so stormy here that you can get a little grouchy being stuck with not much to do, so me and James tend to go for longish walks to see what we can find and well just to stretchy are legs. Saturdays finds were this amazing view point (yes I moaned all the way up the hill and back down) and this amazing spirit tree and collection of spirit houses. It was so strange because as we were looking around every car that passed by would bib its horn several times and after about 10 bibbing cars we realised they were bibbing for the spirits and at the shrines. Pretty amazing.
