Flatforms
18:47Flatforms - ASOS
The latest bloggers trend has to be the famous flatforms, maybe they are not everyone's cup of tea but personally I could not wait to get my hands on a pair and after I saw these gorgeous floral Mary-Jane's on ASOS my heart was set and I just had to have them for Spring. So I got my flatforms last week and yesterday was the first time I have worn them, and let me tell you now they are IMPOSSIBLE to walk in, I looked and felt like a duck waddling down the high street. Seriously how are you ment to walk, faltform experts you need to help me out? I was so annoyed that they hurt me so much as I was really looking forward to wearing them, I really did not think they would be that hard to walk in! However even though I failed the first time and was left with blood and blisters I will not give up and I will learn how to walk flat footed :S if that is even possible.
Has anyone else experienced the same dilemma with their flatforms?

I bought the asos vera flatforms and found them so hard to walk in at first! I'm kind of getting used to them now but they still feel weird x
ReplyDeleteOh that is good to know that you kind of get used to them gives me hope that I will get used to wearing mine lol :\ xo
DeleteI'm not a huge fan of flatforms on the whole, but these are so gorgeous and summery! Can't imagine what it feels like to walk in them but I guess just break them in a little and pick your feet up a little more? (:
ReplyDeleteI know that is one of the reason I could not resist them haha they were just too cute and summer like :P I did try this but it resulted in me stomping haha a little more practice is needed definitely!! xo
Deletethey look so cute, love the print
ReplyDeleteoh my god thank you so much for warning me because i was going to purchase some but if you are not able to walk in them neither will i probably xx
ReplyDeleteI hope that one day I will be able to lol I will keep you updated :) x
Deleteoh my god i looooove these. although i'm not sure about the pattern. they're only £30 too! amazing price for asos.
ReplyDeleteI thought they would be easier to walk in :( I'm dissapointed, they look so pretty & I thought they'd be great for getting height without the achy feet. That's that theory out the window haha.
ReplyDeleteOh ive been eyeing these up for a while now too, I love the print! Gutted they are so hard to walk in, hopefully then just need breaking in x
ReplyDeletelove these! really need a pair for s/s.

i'm still not sure about flatforms! i think some are really cute (like these, eeeek!) but some just look like old lady shoes or rejects from the 90s. i tried some on in new look and they felt so weird to walk in, totally felt like a duck too haha xx
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern on these but still not sure about flatforms

i'm glad you've told us how hard they are to walk in them, i keep buying shoes that i can't walk in because i look at other people and think "if they can manage, so can i?" and then it turns out that the shoes in question actually cripple me!! i would've bought flatforms thinking how comfy they look, but i will remain dubious about them! xxx
ReplyDeleteLove flatforms! I'm guessing these are a bit easier to walk in than mine which don't have a strap holding them on. I think it just takes a bit of practice, it does feel weird though!
ReplyDeleteI bought the Vera flatforms from Asos and they WRECK!!! I find the actually flatform ok and it rolls nicely along the ground and they DO fit, but it's like the edges!?!? Around my heel area and top of my toes, it burns so bad! And they just will not stretch out! Really disappointed but I am not giving up!xxx
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of flat forms!! Just bought myself a pair! Yippeeeee!!! These ones are fab! xxx
ReplyDeleteI actually did a Google search for tips on how to walk in flat forms and was directed here. I have the same trouble as you with some of mine, but I have a couple inches on the platforms so they're a little scary. It helps if you treat them like you're learning to walk in heels, putting your weight on the heel first and then bringing your toes down. In flats I've found that I kind of shuffle my feet so I never think about how I walk but flatforms definitely take practice.
